I've been told that this one-of-a-kind Santo Domingo Pueblo necklace is Museum quality. In some of my pieces, I design them in memory of my Pueblo ancestors. I started with hand grinding out the white shell using sandstone, the method of my Pueblo ancestors. Then I inlaid the shell with Kingman turquoise stones and rounded the edges as well . I also inlaid the white shell with spiney oyster shell, black jet and mother-of-pearl shell. On the necklace, it is strung with natural Spiney Oyster shell and Authentic Santo Domingo Pueblo heishi shells. I finished it in the braid tie with natural Abalone shell added. This is definitely a beautiful show stopper piece.
